Follow Technique For Everyone
Newcomers welcomed and encouraged. Experienced dancers especially encouraged to challenge yourself to grow even more in your dance! Starting from the ground up….focus on posture, balance, timing, cadence with natural movement while gaining more body awareness. Exercises and techniques to help improve your walk, pivots, free leg work and perhaps some ideas for embellishing (how, when and what).
LEADERS please join us to study the role of the follower! Your knowledge of the follower’s role and movement will help you better understand your role as a leader!
Bring flat shoes, heels (if you have them) and socks to dance in.
Deep Fundamentals
No matter what your level or experience it’s ALWAYS a good practice to refresh and review the fundamentals. They are the building blocks for all the other movements you will do.

Jesica Cutler & John Miller Workshop Weekend
John Miller and Jesica Cutler have been teaching tango together since 2013 and in that time have developed a style that is fun, connected, and precise.
They have taught and performed at numerous festivals across North America, including the Boulder Tango Festival, Salt Lake City Tango Festival, Windy City Tango Festival, Tango on the Rocks, and many more.
Their primary influences have been Gustavo Naveira and Giselle Anne, Chicho Frumboli and Juana Sepulveda, Nick Jones, and old videos of Juan Carlos Copes and Maria Nieves.

Wednesday, November 6 - Tango Wednesday Takeover! Liz & Yannick will teach both the intro lesson and the beginner/intermediate lesson that follows it. They will also DJ this practica and perform! The topic of the beginner/intermediate lesson will be: Intro To The Giro. This will be a great class for beginners but also for more experienced dancers as Liz & Yannick will build on the concepts in this class in the workshops to come. The format will be the same as any Tango Wednesday: Intro lesson @ 7 PM. Beg/Int lesson @ 7:45 PM. Social dancing from 8:45 PM - 11 PM. $20 for class(es) & practica; $15 for practica alone.
